One picture L1015964m7cron90lfht+++m9-900-50ct.jpg M9 (as back up) + MacroElmar 90 Best Henry Hi Gary, with the Apo 90 I can photography a lot of pictures I cannot with a 50 per example I recognize a slight difficulty to focus and you can need a magnifier (for me , I don't use it). I want to show you this first picture with a nice bokeh you can have with this lens and I also like the "soft" side of the rose . It brings a little artistic touch to the flower and what surrounds it focus at 1 meter. MacroElmar 90 (ME90) does the same thing but it has less nuance . the only advantage , ME90 is lighter and the focus is at 0.70m Welcome, dear visitor! philipus Posted July 10, 2015 Share #5718 Posted July 10, 2015 Here are two from our mini-vacation in Nice this past Easter, both TTL 50/1.4 Asph and 5222 pushed to 800 in HC-110B. They look fine at this size but at the 2000dpi scan size it is fairly evident that my developing skills have room for improvement. I find HC-110 a bit tricky because of the rather random results it gives regarding grain. Some images on a roll will be smoother than other. Temperature is a important, I have come to understand, and this roll was developed at 22C for 9m30s. I might have had slightly better results in dilution H which doubles the time and halves the dilution. Some of the contrast can of course be tamed during the scanning process, which I tried to do here. FlickrFlickr
