I got a new Summicron 50/2, I didn't expect this level of improvement with the XP2 and relatively low res scan. It's my third lens after getting Elmarit 28 and Summarit 50 in 2011. I think the Summicron will replace the Summarit now.

I think Summicron 50 is better than Summarit 50

That's the devasting results of a cheap film like Superia 200, a warming filter and the poppies!

 

Sometimes I think Cartier Bresson was right, colour photography is ugly!

Cuthbert, I also noticed that sometimes Fuji gives too bright red and must desaturate a bit with LR

Kodak Portra is correct for red

It can also depend on a scanner

You're right , JC Bresson do very little color but mostly black and white :)

Cuthbert, sometimes it also depends on the light shooting
This photo is scanned on a Nikon 5000
(or V) and uncorrected
