Doc Henry Posted June 3, 2015 Author Share #4804 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) I got a new Summicron 50/2, I didn't expect this level of improvement with the XP2 and relatively low res scan. It's my third lens after getting Elmarit 28 and Summarit 50 in 2011. I think the Summicron will replace the Summarit now. F1000034.jpg M7 Summicron-M 50/2 Ilford XP2 Ellie good lens and nice b&w picture with "true" grain I think Summicron 50 is better than Summarit 50 Best Henry Edited June 3, 2015 by Doc Henry

Cuthbert Posted June 3, 2015 Share #4807 Posted June 3, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Some poppies here: Cuthbert, nice color , red a bit saturated on my screen Best Henry That's the devasting results of a cheap film like Superia 200, a warming filter and the poppies! Sometimes I think Cartier Bresson was right, colour photography is ugly! Other samples: Edited June 3, 2015 by Cuthbert

Doc Henry Posted June 4, 2015 Author Share #4815 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) That's the devasting results of a cheap film like Superia 200, a warming filter and the poppies! Sometimes I think Cartier Bresson was right, colour photography is ugly! Other samples Cuthbert, I also noticed that sometimes Fuji gives too bright red and must desaturate a bit with LR Kodak Portra is correct for red It can also depend on a scanner You're right , JC Bresson do very little color but mostly black and white Thanks for posting again Best Henry Edited June 4, 2015 by Doc Henry
Doc Henry Posted June 4, 2015 Author Share #4816 Posted June 4, 2015 Cuthbert, sometimes it also depends on the light shooting This photo is scanned on a Nikon 5000 (or V) and uncorrected Fuji Superia 100 MP 90 MacroElmar Welcome, dear visitor!
