Guest Posted May 22, 2015 Share #4664 Posted May 22, 2015 Better but still pretty reddish...a better pic on my side: That's what a Lotus looks like when it breaks down. Ric
Cuthbert Posted May 22, 2015 Share #4665 Posted May 22, 2015 (edited) I tried some macro in color (Fujifilm Superia 400), mostly to see how the color is. At shutter speed 1/10s I need to look into a tripod, manual mirror up etc. F1000016.jpg M7 Visoflex III Summarit-M 50/2.5 Fujifilm Superia 400 F1000008.jpg The setup. L1020053.jpg Nice Kiev 60! Does it work fine? Is it reliable? Anyway: Edited May 22, 2015 by Cuthbert
Cuthbert Posted May 22, 2015 Share #4666 Posted May 22, 2015 That's what a Lotus looks like when it breaks down. Ric Mmm? This Lotus wasn't broken, actually it was in quite good conditions...perhaps you're more into these cars: Ok that was a crazy composition I tried to add some variation to my pics.

A miller Posted May 22, 2015 Share #4668 Posted May 22, 2015 fwiw, here is a real juxtaposition of sorts. A candid portrait using the sublime 75mm summilux but with tri-x pushed to 1000 ISO. The loss of sharpness from the pushing of the film is very evident. Still quite a dreamy rendition, and if the subject were (much) more attractive it may actually be sufficiently interesting. I share this simply for the illustration of of the lens and pushed film combo. Best, Adam Welcome, dear visitor! Guest Benqui Posted May 24, 2015 Share #4672 Posted May 24, 2015 how about a nice old fashioned AMERICAN car? Portra 400 28mm elmarit pre-asph I have an old fashioned German car for you Adam (POrsche 356 A)! It was taken with a Summarit 35mm, Tmax 400 and MP. I agree that it is not perfect but for me it is a very important photo, because it was my first PE print in my darkroom. Since I did not have a scanner at that time, I took a digital photo of my analog PE print. best regards Marc
