Cuthbert Posted May 19, 2015 Share #4570 Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Gary nice shot and grain inimitable by software Thanks Best Henry Don't tell the digital crowd...yesterday on another board I pissed them off when I said digital pics are worthless when you have to assess the contrast and sharpness of an old lens because they manipulated the pics with these controls in post process. I showed one of my pics taken with the same lens and Portra 160 and they said my image was flat, boring and unimaginative, probably because that day there was an heavy overcast sky so the colours came out a little dull. This is the "ugly" analogic picture: Edited May 19, 2015 by Cuthbert

This is the "ugly" analogic picture: Hi Cuthbert, don't worry, 80% of people are formatted for digital pictures ie supports the corrected color with photo software (without a basic scientific knowledge on color versus photography school or optical). On the contrary, I found your last picture * very pretty very soft , no smooth edges or lines ,artistic because I refuse to be formatted and also when I compare it with the image that I recorded in the visual cortex of my brain. ....* picture with a soul, we will enjoy watching again, not the case with digital images Best Henry Edited May 19, 2015 by Doc Henry
