Leica MP

Summicron 28 Asph

Kodak Portra 400

A remark about exposure measurement of MP:

manual exposure adjustment is superior in quality

and precision to the automatic setting M7

"Very windy"???

I've got to move there, if it was windy here there would be white-caps everywhere. LOL.

Loved the port when we visited in 2013. Sadly we won't get to Marseille this August. Paris is all we do (with coffee of course Henry).

Gary as you know , local people call the "Mistral of Provence" and it is terrible to chase pollution but very cold even icy in winter !

Marseille is the capital of Provence :)

Lovely to see so much images with the 28 summicron, I recently got one to pair with my 50 summilux asph. Great combination on the M240, but would love to use it on a few rolls! Just haven't had the time lately. :)

I agree with both of you Jip and Doc Henry.

The 28mm is a great lens and it is a great «companion» to the 50mm. C*

Henry, I like your series taken from the trains. I think it is a great theme to pursue.

On another note have you ever read any of Paul Theroux’s train stories.

«The great railway bazaar or Ghost train to the Eastern star. »

Train travel and photography make a good pair. Looking forward to see more.
