A miller Posted March 13, 2015 Share #3607 Posted March 13, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dear Mr. Ric Sir () Here in Manhattan we have a LOT of shadows to deal with. You have to learn to use them otherwise you will drown in exposure metering I have a LOT to learn myself... Thanks for the compliment.

Was trying to introduce some purposeful blur into the shots, but when I was editing through the results a while later I could see nothing too interesting. Then the reflections of the people on the platform caught my eye. So very slightly interesting. Gonna see if I can one day capture the reflections in a passing train on *purpose* so I can better frame the shot. Ric I do like the blur actually, my eyes fell upon the speed-blur at the end of the train first and then on the reflections of the people, which do make the most interesting part. Maybe you could play a little with local contrast there to emphasize it a bit more. So, potentially a strong image I think

Maybe you could play a little with local contrast there to emphasize it a bit more. So, potentially a strong image I think Because of the placement of the reflections, you have the happy accident that the three faces look as if they are in the train, but standing still relative to it! Cue memories of those dreadful old explanations of relativity. Lovely picture. Chris
