more crazy stupid Tri-X NYC snow shots for my film friends...

combo of M3 and M-A

sorry for the clutter, but misery loves company :)

Super set Adam, particularly given the inclement weather and that you have hit the focus on the main subjects' eyes!

Adam, thanks for the offer. Now I have to find a cheap ticket for the near future! ;)

Henri, will have a look at it at home.

I like 35 and 28 myself. Some days I can get closer than others.

Remember a couple of Neo Nazi smashing their hands on my truck in Germany. Took me a while before I could get closer to people after that. [emoji15]

The only video regarding photography styles that has really ever resonated with me is this one of Garry Winogrand that i came across a few years ago.

I feel a very strong connection to his interests and style

Henry, had a look at the links you posted:

Unless I take photos of my running dogs or wildlife I'd be interested in telephoto, and at the moment I'm actually thinking of binning all the slr / dslr stuff (although I'll probably keep the Hasselblad for emotional reasons).

I would have no idea how to take photos with a tele on the the street as I'm someone who likes to include as much as possible.

Forced myself to use the 50mm for a while and although I like the summicron its output, I find it very hard to include "all" the things in the frame.

Like some of Yanidels photos by the way.

The last link seriously bored me. :o

No pun intended, I don't care for the slr / rangefinder debate. Worked with both but I decided to concentrate on the rangefinder as that brings me the most joy.

Gary, the one lens that had me waiting this long is having to deal with endless emails of buyers that don't want to buy unless I sell it for half the asking price and a 21mm Zeiss ZE lens. I love that thing. But then again... I always grab a Leica when I leave the door.

I think it's time for some action and use that money for an extra M-A. :D

Allan, for the last link EricKim often used 90 Summicron and sometimes 75.

anyway, Adam has much merit because with a 28 mm in general, his pictures are successful.

I'll try to shoot a roll by posting in a corner with my 90 MacroElmar , light and discreet, with a monopod

to not get noticed. I'll see what happens :)

All my long lenses usually end up unused in the cupboard. I have a goggled 135mm which I find too bulky to take with me. Wouldn't want to shoot 135mm for a full day, that's for sure!

Anyways, I'll try to find some time to build the lift onto my Jobo as I have a drawer filled with color film waiting to get developed. :p
