Hi Adam, about "faithful colors" as you said and for comparison , look at this picture taken with my M9 CCD sensor. A miller Posted January 25, 2015 Share #2914 Posted January 25, 2015 the portra shot is much nicer, with richer, chalky earth tones. Not saying that the M9 shot couldn't be edited to get close. I have no idea.

Suuumm55 Posted January 25, 2015 Share #2918 Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) Hi Henry, i refer to the photos # 2911, 2913 and 2915 # 2911 very nice earthy colors that go deep mocha for me in the direction - on the 1th look pleasant, on the 2nd look strong - the color difference between rock and water is me too dominant # 2913 harmonious cool color variation - here you can feel more commonality between rock and water # 2915 is almost identical to # 2913, perhaps a shade lighter .... ? it is difficult to recognize when you have to scroll.... and as always, just my personal opinion any incorrect translation of a translation program i apologize - Thank You Edited January 25, 2015 by Suuumm55

Thank you It's exactly what I think I think the sun is very strong that day and it's difficult for digital to reproduce the correct color of stone. Film has more dynamic to capture as much detail as of color. Best Henry
