Andre D. Wagner photographer shoot film :

Andre D. Wagner, Photographer on Vimeo

and with "an old Leica 30 years old" (translation) :

Il capture Paris à l’aide d’un vieux Leica datant de 30 ans | Paris ZigZag | Insolite & Secret

"Today the majority of pictures are retouched in Paris, filtered, "instagram-ized" excessive and thus lose some of their charm. Photographer Yann Vernerie made the choice to shoot with a Leica M6 dating from 1986. The result is worth a look and charm of Paris naked in terms of its contrasts sharply with 35mm the current trend".

This Lebkuchenhaus-photograph is the opposite of the house in "Haensl und Graetl":

it is for us :) old :) Leica fans and also the contrary of the sinister intentions in the fairy tale.

Henry - the two Portra 400 images are full of atmosphere and very subtle colour gradation. Have only shot one roll of Portra 400 but that was in my Rolleicord Vb. My 35mm colour film usage has been split between AgfaVista 200 (cheap!) and Portra 160. Portra 400 135 is on my shopping list...

On the subject of trees, two shots below of beeches in winter (on the Marlborough Downs). MP, Summaron 35mm, Acros 100, Rodinal.

Keith thanks for posting. It's superb :)

Fabulous Summaron , such definition for a very old lens !

Also thanks for your comment Keith . Yes KP 160 or 400 is great ... I have a slight preference for the 400

Some fabulous pictures from Paris! There is a charm and mystery interwoven during the night and Yann certainly has found it.

After a few weeks of medium format, I took up the M7 today and finished off the Fuji Superia in it. Firstly some trees since that's the theme recently:

and my son is home for the holidays, Cron 90 @ 1/12 (!), converted to B&W in LR:

This Superia always gets drying marks when other films don't. Grrr!

Chris, when I look at a portrait, I first see his expression and this is the most important.

Beautiful portrait and grain gives the real impression to the skin

Very nice color , Fuji Sup. is also a great film :)

Thanks for sharing

You all know that I love macro photography. :)

It allows me to relax, good exercise control of patience .... the enemy of this kind of picture is "blur" , because the wind in macro,

it does not forgive , even with the tripod :)

Very good example of how natural film can draw; not clinical, not oversharpened, smooth transition to unsharp, wonderful. It is as if he sits here right before me. The slight back-focus doesn't even matter
