christoph_d Posted December 21, 2014 Share #2325 Posted December 21, 2014 Henry, I've got a small stock of Polypan-F 50 film. It is surely not the best emulsion around, considering it's nominal 50 ASA, but it comes quite cheap. In Rodinal at 100 ASA I sort of like it. It exhibits a rather pronounced grain and in most circumstances quite a "dry" expression. As it misses an anti-halation layer it can, at times, also show nice halo effects. I attach some sample photos for your perusal. First one looking down onto one of these small picturesque towns in northern Italy, through the window of a "Funicolare". Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! MP, 2/35 IV (I think) Polypan-F can also be excellent for Portraits. The gentlemen pictured here sold us some merchandise in front of one of the churches in Istanbul, extremely friendly, he was happy to sit for a portrait afterwards.
