The laboratory of my Leica Center has developed for me on "Kodak Royal Gold" silver paper (not inkjet) this photo of poppies .

I developed myself in my home laboratory with Focomat enlarger also in 13 x 18 cms

The two photos are framed in black , with a large margin like this :)

What do you think ?

Congratulations on your new 'sticky' status! I'm not really getting out at all lately and looking at the lovely work here helps my frustration!

Chris

Hi Chris, this thread was the result of all LUF members film lovers. Thanks to All of you !

Some try to relegated film to second place with the "invasion" of the digital , practice but easy and inflationary.

The film has the merit to exist and to return with the latest release of the Leica M-A. Leica Wetzlar engineers maybe , felt

that finally they must continue to release film camera.

My M-A is in order and will come soon ! :)

Chris, your pictures are really very nice and you are always welcome. Thanks for posting here !

Film is not dead , long live to film :)

OK, I thought I had seen a similar suit that you had made with the 90 ME but maybe I was mistaken. I have just acquired that lens and am interested to see how it works out on my M6...,

Simon, I also have 90 M-E .

It is also a very good lens , light, goes everywhere and photos are impressive.

Here (picture below) with M7 and 90 M-E as tele 90, without macro adapter. It is lighter (240 g) than Apo Summicron 90 (500 g).

Have you bought with the macro-adapter ?

I am trying to get macrophotos taken with M7 and I'll post for you.

The sharpness is excellent between f:5.6 and f:11 and very good with other aperture openings.

Nice colors.

I also have the adapter but need to experiment with that before I use it in earnest

Henry, these are two well balanced versions of a well thought out photograph, the colours (tones) are even and considered even the narrow focus works perfectly, I like both very much!

Charles

PS I'm glad this thread is sticky!

Indeed it does, its a difficult lens sometimes, but when it comes together the result is fabulous. (The attached photograph is a poor example, I don't scan my work much these days)
