I have just come back from a friends drunk from nice red wine and with about 500 sheets of various Ilford paper, ilfospeed, MGD deluxe, SP, Cooltone, MGFB, 8X10, 16X20, 12x16 I can't believe my luck

And, while we are in the mountains…

A few made the same day, these with the Telyt 200 and Visoflex.

In this particular case I believe the lab actually did not develop this roll correctly. The film is grainier than normal and the colors have shifted a bit. Anyway, I still like the results…

Many arroyos in the Mekong basin , the mangroves are present everywhere , except in some places are dying ,

because of the pollution, water too hot and dryness (global warming) !

I see we have some here who appreciate Portra. Well, me too! Probably my favorite color film. A few made recently at about 12,000 ft in the Rocky Mountains.

We went to the Baltic Coast last week and had a relaxed time there. Here are some shots taken on Tri-X. Developed in Rodinal 1+50 for 22:30 min @16°C:

Thank you, Doc. I'm glad you like it!

And thanks to all who commented on my photos, I do appreciate it.

I am fortunate to live just a short drive from the location of these mountain pictures and look forward to posting some more soon.

Really nice composition and colors here, sir. I've mostly used Portra 160 but have some 400 sitting here that I'll have to put to use soon!

Not Portra this time… here's Velvia 50.

An artifact of the processing, quite noticeable with certain color transitions, is the dark outlining seen here at the edges of the flower petals. Giving a somewhat surreal effect… completely free of any digital manipulation.

Just another reason I like film…

One more from the same batch as the rose shot… with Velvia 50 slide film.

Velvia 50 has a really short tonal range so it can be quite inappropriate for many scenes.

In this case, it happened to work in my favor. The white, blown-out columns in direct sun light provide a better backdrop for the form of the juggler and his airborne club.

Thank you Henry! I actually shoot a fair amount of colour work, but it is usually with my DSLRs, and so far I have only been posting my B&W work to Flickr.

Here are a few from last month! All with my M3, Canon 50/1.4 LTM & Arista Premium 400:
