Today I got back my roll of Portra 400 from the lab.

I did some little adjustments in LR4.4... if the wb is totally off, I try to correct

this and I did some corrections in the basic settings because I am still learning

how I have to do the exposure on my M7. After that I sharpen the image - I try not

to touch the colours of the scan neither the gradation curve.:)

So, here is picture #1 (Wilhelma in Stuttgart)

GS Message well received ! :D

My Leica center offered me a M4-P (made in Germany) still in its original box, unused and owned by his father. I'll see if I can try it, but

without measuring cell exposure , it will be difficult for me, for the first pictures ! I do not like putting on a top Leicameter :D

On the other hand, I bought my first black M7 in 2009-2010 and I have no failures since then, including the failure of DX, some have had

to return their cameras at Wetzlar !

My second is guaranteed for 2 years. M7 remember me M8 with its auto-iso.

I shoot without paying much attention to the measure of exposure.I choose only the aperture

GS if you're interested for this M4P , send me a PM

No dust Henry, but from time to time a lot of dust on the film itself? :D

Lovely camera!

"Lovely camera" thanks :)

Allen , Leica does not manufacture its sensors (see M9, M8) not like Sony or Canon and if production stops,

the camera go directly to showcase :D

For dust, I have an air compressor that takes away all the dust before I move film on enlarger or scanner :)

Regards

Henry

Berk, as I said in my previous posts, all my 7 rolls of film Kodak Portra 400 and 160 (C41) that I brought back from

London, have been developed by myself ! very easy because the temperature is maintained at 30 ° C in a water bath :)

If you're interested, I can put a link here

I took about 400 photos in film and only 200 with my 2 digital M !

He he, thank you for that offer Henry!

But I don´t have the room or the patiece to develop film by myself:o

I have a drugstore in my town which offers a good service.

This is enough for me.

Also my M-E returned from Wetzlar and is asking for its right to be used.

But I really like that Kodak Portra... I will use my M7 more regular in the future.

This baker has won the first prize of the "baguette" in our region in 2013 :)

Yes , this is the real authentic French "baguette" , quite warm from the oven !

I missed it in London

putting the hot "baguette" in the basket
