What I like about the film is its "natural" and "faithful" color, with "soft" lines, that this "relief" may not have the digital image,

"not flat" side and not need correction or photo processing through a Photo Software :)

Maintenance and repairs of boats before going to sea

VN 2014

Kodak Portra 400

The colors are exactly as I saw

For this reason, I do not correct with LR or CO !

the characteristic blue color of this type of boat

  • 2 weeks later...

Some weeks ago I spent some time in my old hometown and followed the tourist trails. I had a roll of Agfa Precisa CT 100 in my cam:

Nice colors, Marc! Sometimes I also use the Paradies films, but since I tried my first roll of Precisa, I filled my fridge with 40 rolls of it, so in the next time I will do more slides :)

I have posted a picture of my nephew here before (old post). With my new scanner, a Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV, the results are slightly better:

Hehe, nice blue eyes this little toddler has:)

And the colours look natural.

I think that I have only one more roll of the old Paradies200 in my fridge.

I like the colours of Paradies200 very much, however I do always some little tweaks in LR.

Usually I shoot with Fuji 200 or 400 but I ordered some rolls of Portra 400 and I wait for the

right moment to load my M7 with it an go out and take some pictures.
