tookaphotoof Posted June 1, 2014 Share #1107 Posted June 1, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hm, memories... Days after a walk around the Nürburgring I noticed a weird thing under my watch. Didn't know what it was so went to the doctor. It appeared to be a tick in my wrist. On a serious note. Did my very first color development yesterday late in the evening. Off course it's no fun to try it one by one, so I simply developed two rolls of portra 400 and after that two rolls of of Cinestill. The cap blew off twice while having the Cinestill in the bleach process, so half off the bleach ended up in the Jobo bath tub. Luckily all 4 films appears to have images on them, but they are also full of stains from the stabiliser. Will see if I can post one or two images later this evening as it's been a while. tookaphotoof Posted June 1, 2014 Share #1108 Posted June 1, 2014 Ah well, let me just put one up now... whatsapp by Tookaphotoof, on Flickr I blew my whole bankaccount on an M240 and have been shooting a lot with it lately. But in the end my conclusion remains the same. Nothing beats the character of film. Cinestill in this case. Time to fine-tune the process now.

Tooka Congratulations on your first successful development C41 I also like the natural color, without correction Tooka , wash the film, at the end with a few drops of wetting agent (Photoflo) There it is, I got my bath for color development. I would work at 37 °C. " But in the end my conclusion remains the same. Nothing beats the character of film" You are right on the whole line! Doc Henry Posted June 2, 2014 Author Share #1117 Posted June 2, 2014 I had 4 days in hospital after a tick bite in Lithuania while on a motorbike tour, 4 days being pumped with antibiotics Hi GS, So you had Lyme Borreliosis. If antibiotic treatment was effective and that the germ has been removed, there will be no consequences. Otherwise after dermatological stage comes the neurological stage . The germ is neurotropic ie it goes immediately to the nerve centers. There is more serious since it can have a heart disease or facial paralysis. The next step, after several years, it is rheumatologic with Lyme arthritis (treated by antibiotics) that can be confused with a simple arthritis (treated by anti-inflammatory) There is a blood test to see if you are infected or not Best Henry
