God I love doing that. It was really sunny here the other day and it reminded me of sitting in a bar in Seville drinking La Gitana and smoking my way through a packet of mini Cubans whilst sampling my way though the Tapas menu. I could do that all day long and watch the world go by.

Yes I love too.Except smoking I left many years ago.

The local camera club ran a portrait session on Tuesday night - not a subject I have bothered with before, but I thought I might as well take advantage. The lighting was mostly flash-based but as I do not have either a flash-gun or a trigger, I had to make do with the 'static' lighting (soft box modelling lights + overhead neons). Mostly took digital (M240) but as I had half a roll of Tri-X in my MP I thought I might as well see what my Sonnar 50mm f1.5 would produce. The Tri-X was rated at ISO 200 and dev'd in Rodinal 1:50 for 9mins. After scanning, I gave the frame a touch of Topaz's 'Soft & Dreamy' plug-in.

Henry,

I am back... I think. It has been a long road with my wife's stroke, rehab and seizures. But I have finally picked up my M3 and R8 and slowly shooting again.

I hope to contribute to this thread quite soon.
