25 years out of date Tmax100 shot at iso400 and 1 hour stand developed in Rodinal with 12g of sodium sulphite added, taken with the new Voigtlander 50F1.5 @ F4

Wrapped

wrapped-XL.jpg

This picture is very nice GSGary , nice contrast and good sharpness

Sodium sulphite brings more for the conservation of the developer and also for the general rendering of the photo?

Thanks for posting

@GSGary nice pictures in b&w of the church Holy Cross.

Beautiful country scene (photo 1)

Nice photo of the gate (photo 2)

Thanks for posting

@David still operational , it seems new

I was invited to an afternoon photo, with the husband of one of my patients who is a farmer driving a harvester. It is a true rolling machine 5000 Kilos

and Gerard his name, led this machine in a remarkable manner , up the hill , like in this picture and driving for two hours without stopping

Remarkable work but hard !

barley is cut, straw, ie that which remains after the seeds are rejected back in a cloud of dust as you see in the picture, grains (3000-5000 kilos)

are stored in the harvester and then transferred to a bucket (photo 2 above)

Film I like much more, the colors the wb the separation of the colors

the skintones, such things are coming much better, I wonder one doesnt remark that.

No doubt in BW at all.

Its so much easier to get good pics, if there wasnt the scanning

process which is not too funny.;)

Thanks for posting Becker :)

I fully agree !

The possibility of having a beautiful picture is much easier and flexible , compared to digital. This is what I noticed after 4 years of digital.

You can easily convert the color (3 layers of silver grains) in b&w images and we have more depth. I often go out now with my analog cameras (M7,R8,SL)

and take most of my photos . In exchange, we must develop your film , scan it and it may take time. After it was the turn of silver paper (best in terms of

quality), but what a pleasure to do everything yourself

That said, to develop on paper images of my M9, I also work with photos software (LR or PS etc ...) and it can take a long time too (like for scanner)...

and this in front of your computer for a long time

Yeah, now that I do some color on Film I know what HDR means out of the box ;)

You get nice pics with f ex. the M9 too, when light is very friendly.

We are not talking about the message, which makes at least a good pic.

But I can be happy with some tones and high end beautiful colors too for them selfe

as its game and not a business for me:) and its fun to think about.

In times of quality running down and making us to beta testers of undeveloped

products.

Here one simple pic i like, from M9 shows the power of digital, hope You allow :)

No problem Becker.You are welcome ! :)

I think the color is not at the top, and I say that with my experience of 4 years M8 and M9 (that I have always)

it is less rich and Erwin Puts had right about bright for M9 and Neutral for the M240. I think the color of the M240 is not worth the M9, less deep color (in case the CMOS sensor?)

.... and now Bernard's brother Gerard who led the bucket to transport 5,000 kilos of barley each trip.....

"Family work in the profession of farmer" :)

2 pictures for Koko with Kodak Ektar 100

Montparnasse tower Paris

The edges and lines of the tower are clear but are not smooth (due to the 3 layers of silver grains)

This is the difference (film vs.digital) that people do not see ! :D
