Not only I love film. I love darkroom too. It's difficult for me to shoot without printing by myself. Only in my darkroom the process has a possibilty to be complete.

Antonio

Antonio, thanks for your comment.

I also used my Focomat and made b&w enlargements with great pleasure ... the pleasure of seeing silver grains instead of pixels (when enlarged) :D

Antonio, you are welcome if you can post some pictures here. Thanks in advance !

We visited recently "the flea market" (in french "marché aux puces") of Saint Ouen in Paris, to see if we can not

have a beautiful antiquity at a good price.

Here are some pictures that I brought back from this visit

I intentionally left the images in color because I find them more beautiful ! :)

Your opinion ?

That's what tells Magnum photographer Gilles Peress * speaking about film vs digital

"Digital reproduced poorly the border between light and shadow, all these shades that can be received

as a function of the aperture with a traditional camera.

The digital image is very flat, at the output of the camera while the silver gives brightness and depth.

"Finally, we also know that silver, the film thickness, as opposed to the sensor whose thickness is almost virtual affect

the focus and depth of field, the light scattering in the photosensitive layer is of varying thickness and which rests on a support".

Thank you Kokoshawnuff and GSgary to continue to post pictures because the thread dies slowly ......:(

Not many people who continue the film ... it's a shame and sad, when I see the quality of the film versus the sensor ...

This weekend I went to photograph a castle in my area and we had a lot of sun and heat.

Guess who brought the most beautiful photos? film or sensor ?

Again, it's a shame that people do not realize that the sensor does not like bright light but the film yes

@Koko great pictures of LA zoo animals , very sharp ....

@GS , it seems you like much your dog isn't ?

Thanks again to both of you for posting :)

Here a first picture of this castle XVIIth century.I'll post more later when i finish to scan ....
