gdmiv Posted April 4, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted April 4, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Folks, Â I have purchased a D-Lux 3 as a first step into digital, with the intent of digiscoping. Â I have seen a number of threads on SD cards and the M8 but have not located a discussion on cards for the D-Lux 3. I am interested in maximizing data transfer speed. Any pointers would be appreciated; I don't see anything on the Leica site. Â In the couple of weeks that I have had the D-Lux 3 I have not been able to become acustomed to the LCD/viewfinder for normal work, but it is very nice for tripod-mounted digiscoping, Not a replacement for my M7 but it may have it's niche. Â Thanks for any information, Â Doug

'Cron Posted April 4, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted April 4, 2007 Doug: Â We are using SanDisk Ultra II, 1.0 GB, and Ultra III, 1.0 GB, SD cards in the D-Lux 3 (since December 2006). Both versions of these SanDisk SD cards work flawlessly. If there is a difference in speed between the Ultra II and III, it is almost undectable in use. Â Our Televid Digitaladapter 2, just arrived, and we have yet to press it into service with our telescope. Hopefully, we will be able to do so in the next couple of days. Â Best of Light, Â Bill 'Cron
