Greetings from a newbie from Chile

I have been taking pictures for about 20 years (since I could afford a camera), but only SLR (I have a ton of Nikon gear, plus Sony NEX and others P&S like de Sony RX100).

 

My father always shot Leica. Some time ago he gave me his M4 plus three lenses (35, 50 and 135). I was as happy as he had given me a new car.

 

A couple of weeks ago I managed to purchase the M-E body (B&H) and take my first digital Leica pictures in New York. I am still getting used to the focusing, the framing, etc., etc. I have made a lot of mistakes.. yet, some of the photos I made are amongst the best of my life. The "quality" is amazing, is soooo "film-like".

 

I want to carry it all the time (as opposed to my heavy backpacks full of Nikon). I am still not sure that I will end up selling all my Nikon gear. There are shots that will be very hard with my Leica M (por example, long teles in action sports). However, I KNOW that my Nikons will remain more in their bags.

 

I still have SO MUCH to learn. All advise will be welcome. Thank you
