stunsworth Posted May 19, 2013 Share #1 Posted May 19, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Back in the early 90s I had a few films put on Kodak Photo CDs. Over the years Kodak dropped the format, and Photoshop lost the ability to import the files. I've been looking for an easy (and free) way to access the images for a few years, but never found anything that worked very well. However today I happened to read by chance that iPhoto on a Mac might be able to process them. With nothing to lose I fired up the program, and lo and behold, it can indeed import the photos. Once imported I copied the Jpegs produced to my Lightroom library, and hey presto I can view the (it has to be said mediocre) images from twenty odd years ago. I thought this may be of use or interest to anyone else who dabbled with Photo CD in the olden days. Here's one of them - cropped a bit. Not Leica but Pentax ME Super with a 28-200mm zoom.
