gvaliquette Posted April 1, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted April 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone: Â Last Saturday (March 24), there was a spring snow storm in Vermont with big, fat snowflakes. I could not resist taking out my R9, with the DMR and the 35mm Summicron. The light was from incandescent spotlights mounted under our roof. Some images were interesting, such as this one: Â http://www.leica-camera-user.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31849&stc=1&d=1175461963 Â Others, however, showed the limits of low light photography with the DMR: Â http://www.leica-camera-user.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31853&stc=1&d=1175462292 Â http://www.leica-camera-user.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31855&stc=1&d=1175462593 Â The problem might also have been compounded by the fact that Photoshop Elements also "pushed" the exposure by 2 stops. The DMR was set at 800 ISO. Â I still think the experiment was worthwile. I did find out where the DMR's limits are! Â Thanks for looking.
