Does anyone have any idea how many M240's dealers are receiving from Leica on a monthly basis? I'm biasing my question to focus on the bigger dealers in the US; Dale, Photo Villiage, etc. I had received notice that my M240 was at the dealer but unfortunately the body was damaged in-shipment from Leica; so I'm back on "the list". Dealer assured me that I was "first-in-line", but I've heard nothing yet. Go figure, I was informed of the damage on April 1 (April Fools Day!), so it's been 17 days. I talked to Houston Camera Exchange last week (I am on another dealer's list, not theirs) and they said they have a list of 8 people waiting and have not received one camera yet and have no idea when to expect a shipment or how many will be in that first shipment. The dealer has not received any communication on when to expect their (mine) first M (Type240). The dealer received an invoice for my 50 APO a week before it arrived in March, so I assume the same process may hold true for the M. That means I won't receive my M within the next week, since there has been no word. I've heard rumors that different regions of the US will receive a given allocation of new products, but that may only be speculation. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
