Will Jamie's profiles work on DMR files too?

I took some shots internally under artificial light this week, and what should be black trousers have a distinctive purple / mauve tint to them. WB was taken under this light from a white piece of paper.

So, would the profiles help in this situation too?

Thanks

Hi Andy (and Rob!)

The DMR (just like any digital camera, actually) can be affected by very strong IR, so this might be the same phenomenon.

I have to say though are the pants navy blue by any chance? The pants on the left look quite a bit more neutral than the ones in the centre and right, too. And what Rob said about the badges is true as well.

Having said all that, yes, the DMR could use a better profile than the default one, and personally I like the Imacon DMR profile made for FlexColor (which I use in C1 :)) ...

The M8 profiles will work for the DMR, and in this situation, might be just fine. But watch the skin and saturated blues / greens; they seem quite different on the DMR.

Once I figure out the M8 to my satisfaction (like, when they've stopped messing with the colour response) then I will make some complementary DMR profiles too, since I need to match mine anyway ;)

Make sense? There are a few more profiles you could use, too--PM me if you need more information.
