Advertisement Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Hi MichaelToye, Take a look here I put together a post on how I process Monochrom files with Silver Efex Pro 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wattsy Posted April 2, 2013 Share #2 Posted April 2, 2013 Not dissimilar to my own workflow (though I personally favour a less 'structured' look as the end product).
sanyasi Posted April 2, 2013 Share #3 Posted April 2, 2013 Thanks for posting your workflow. My workflow is a little different. I do the Camera Raw adjustments in ACR (except curves). I then open the photo in Photoshop and make several adjustments: Shadows and Highlights, and Curves. I then open the photo in Silver Efex and "perfect" it there. I have been wondering if my approach is redundant, but it seems to work. Jack Siegel
jsjxyz Posted April 4, 2013 Share #4 Posted April 4, 2013 In using SE pro 2, the first thing I do is applying film emulation, which in my case is Tmax 100 or 400, I am so accustomed with the character of tmax, since my film day. After the film emulation, I will adjust with brightness, contrast, amplify black and white then playing with structure a bit.
