I am presuming their English is less than excellent.  Leica M L M to Canon EOS EF 5D II 7D 450D 500D Adapter | eBay   Is it 1 to 2 feet... or more than that? mmradman Posted March 26, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted March 26, 2013 Pretty much so; for fun i attached AA90mm M lens to DSLR via M/R adaptor but infinity focus equated about 12'' distance being in focus with paper thin dof.
LucisPictor Posted March 26, 2013 Share #3 Â Posted March 26, 2013 That is one the adapter types that doesn't make any sense to me.

Native registry distance of M system is 27.8 while SLRs are between 44 and 47mm, so any M lens is almost 20mm in deficit even before you introduce adapter. From the memory attached image was taken less than a foot or 0.3meters away.  Welcome, dear visitor!
