Artichoke Posted March 29, 2007 Share #1  Posted March 29, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I know I may be beating this into the ground, but as spring arrives & chlorophyll starts flowing, the urgency of having an ir/cut filter increases for those using the M8 and shooting outdoors here is a sample of foliage shot without the ir/cut filter   and now with one in place   I have a series of different profiles used in C1 and also results from Lightroom processing of these files available to view along with how these were photographed here techniques Photo Gallery by Artichoke Vinagrette at pbase.com bottom line: ir/cut filters are essential to getting good foliage color from the M8 and a much more difficult problem to deal with in post processing than magenta/black Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

No question that the greens are so much truer without the interference of IR. This simple test you have done is really telling.
