I've recently become involved with a small Diner's Club project that aims to promote the positive impacts localized clubs, societies, and gathering have on its community. And immediately I thought of this as a great way to combine my two greatest passions: story-telling and Leicas. The concept of the short is to tell the story of an international traveler returning to New York City and re-engaging in some old friends who are members of a local Leica camera appreciation club. So I was thinking: what better way to shoot this than with real Leica enthusiasts from my local community? These events will largely be based off of my personal experiences traveling abroad and here in New York.
