Jfelder2@nyc.rr.com Posted March 27, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 27, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been using the new Leica IR filter on my old, non-coded 1.4/35mm. I don't notice any cyan corners. Is it less of an issue for the 35mm lenses? Â http://www.snapshotartifact.org/
Advertisement Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Hi Jfelder2@nyc.rr.com, Take a look here Cyan corners on 1.4/35mm?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lars_bergquist Posted March 27, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted March 27, 2007 Leica say that 35 mm lenses must be coded, but they may be using tests and criteria that have little to do with practical photography. Do take some shots of an overcast sky. If they look OK, all is OK. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, not in what it says.
