pauledell Posted February 25, 2013 Share #2 Posted February 25, 2013 A very nice picture with fine composition, colors and sharpness. If it hasn't been said earlier, welcome to the forum. Paul
Iduna Posted February 25, 2013 Share #3 Posted February 25, 2013 Yes, welcome to the forum. The swan is quite detailed with a well handled whitebalance. The sharp black eye is quite appealing. For me interesting to see a good performance of the Telyt plus extender.
Northwest Wanderer Posted February 25, 2013 Share #4 Posted February 25, 2013 Hello & welcome. Very nice image. If one looks closely at the eye they can see more than just a black circle. Now that says something about the quality of the picture.

Orient XI Posted February 28, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted February 28, 2013 Somebody, whose post has disappeared into cyberspace, asked for details of the set-up used for the swan's photo. I append an exploded view of this. It is also possible to use the double bayonet extension tube OUFRO/16469 between OUBIO and the Visoflex to obtain a similar focussing range of 176 — 311cm. (see D.Laney, Leica Collectors Guide, 1st edition, p.284; Hove Collectors Books, Hove, 1992.) Welcome, dear visitor!
