I'm guessing the traffic, lack of public transportation and spaced out regions have a lot to do with this. But it would be fun to try to put one together. Urban/street shooting in downtown LA, Hollywood, Venice or Santa Monica? Coastal areas like Dana Point, Catalina or Laguna? Hop the Amtrak to Old Town San Diego or up to Santa Barbara? These are just ideas, so I'm all ears to other suggestions; and considerations to those that don't have cars or are visiting Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I photograph all the time around Southern California and in the past ten years I have encountered only four or five other photographers using a Leica. Or perhaps it's just the typical So Cal attitude of I don't know you or want to get to know you sentiment that is so pervasive around the south land. Regards.
