IR filter swap thread?

So you ordered your two free IR filters from Leica -

 

and now, 3 months later, your lens lineup, or your favorite lens has changed.

 

Or you gave up and bought your own filters for your two favorite lenses and now need to filter your third-and-fourth-most-favorite lenses.

 

At any rate, you'd prefer different filter diameter(s) than the ones you orignally ordered.

 

Any reason not to set up a sticky thread for people to swap filters? No money exchanging hands, so it's not a sale or a buy. Just bartering among M8 fans.

 

I personally (to get things rolling) have a 46mm on order, whereas I no longer have any lenses that take 46mm filters directly. But I DO have a 49mm lens, and would swap my 46 (once it arrives) for someone's unneeded 49 filter. (I do have a 49/46 step-down ring - but why tie up a 46 if someone else would like it?)

 

Anyone else?

I agree Andy let's start this up. I have a bunch coming and have some now and i just ordered a 67mm from a German dealer that i may not need . When I get a handle on what i have versus what i need than I will hopefully be able to post it and help some folks out .

 

But let the bartering begin. This should be fun.

 

I probably have enough to barter for a lens. LOL

Andy I got a load of filters and i sold a couple lenses with filters. It's filter madness. LOL

It happened to me, I email Leica and they confirmed they change my order to suite my new lense. So if you have a pending delivery order, I recommend to email urgently Leica
