andym911 Posted February 9, 2013 Share #1 Posted February 9, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all just a quick clarification as I am just cataloging my lenses. My Lux 50/1.4 seems to be a very early Type 1. the serial number is 1640916. Am I right in putting the production date at 1958? thanks for any comment andy

tobey bilek Posted February 15, 2013 Share #7 Posted February 15, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Lovely lens, just not well thought of. Replaced in two years with model that stayed in production 40 years. I wish I could find a nice sample to replace my Summarit, but all I ever found was the version 2 models. I don't know your definition of "nice", but there is one in the forum classifieds right now that looks good to me and the price seems about right (I have no connection to the seller).
