Simon Gleave Posted March 25, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone had any problems with the alignment of the DMR sensor. I attach a couple of pictures of my back garden, with 50mm lens. The f8 picture shows reasonable focus across the horizontal but the f1.4 retains sharpness only on the right hand side with the center and left completely out. Â This indicates to me that the sensor is out of alignment progressively to one side. This is strange as the sensor is spring loaded to fit against the film plane in the R9 body so should be flat. pascal_meheut Posted March 25, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted March 25, 2007 Could be the lens, could be the body...
robsteve Posted March 25, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted March 25, 2007 Try opening the back and closing it again. Marco was having an alignment problem with his when he first got it and he later realized he had accidentally pushed the door latch while the unit was mounted. In Marco's case, the horizons were crooked. Â Take the power unit/drive off, open and close the film back, put the power unit on and try again. Â As Pascal said, it could also be a bent lens mount on the camera or a lens problem. Does it do this with other lenses?
