B+W yes, but NOT heliopan.You really need those filters from day one.

 

Get me to profile your printer sometime. Buy a Gretag Macbeth EyeOne Display screen calibrator NOW if you don't have one already - on no account buy a Spyder. If you need a decent screen we need to talk about it.

 

Have no fear, the 35 1.4 Ti has the bite of an alligator on the M8. But this lens will wear under intensive use.

The ASPH's are the same as what is being produced today, other then they are not coded.

 

 

I called Leica's main office in the east coast of USA and they confirmed what you said.

 

looking like i can now use the 35 asph once again.

SHould be getting my m8 today and looking forward to shooting some cherry blossoms in washington d.c. next week.

 

anyone have experience with the arctic butterfly 724 sensor brush cleaner?

as it is usually very windy in d.c., i am thinking i will need to clean at the hotel.

Buying an M8 is like having a kid. If you think about it too much you will never do it :-)

 

But if you do get a kid or buy an M8 you will ask yourself why you did not do it sooner :-)

 

so go ahead and get this M8
