lorax412 Posted January 20, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) My 1936 III came with a single split ring in one of the strap lugs. Did they originally come with a pair of these attached to put a strap on, or did one originally attach the FIBOS strap's hooks directly to the lugs? Thanks in advance. There are different leather straps some with rings, funny they reedit this one for the X2 and some with hooks your choice next to clamp them on rings or directly on lugs. lorax412 Posted February 1, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted February 1, 2013 Right, I know all kinds of straps could, in theory, be used on a III, I was just wondering how they came from the factory, and if the split rings on mine are at all contemporary to the camera, or maybe a strap of that period (30s-40s). Nothing on the cameras, only on straps.
