@bumac Posted March 24, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) on M6, Fuji 100 Asa. I like the lense. It is really good and pricy (300 Euro at cameraquest). But take care with your fingers. It is very easy to have them on the picture. biglouis Posted March 24, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted March 24, 2007 Nice pictures but I would definitely play with the transform and lens filter options in CS2, if you have it to take some of the distortion out. Â LouisB

PATB Posted March 24, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted March 24, 2007 Reiner, what external finder are you using, if any? I am also interested in the CV wide angles for travel shots (can't afford another Leica at the moment).
@bumac Posted March 24, 2007 Author Share #6 Â Posted March 24, 2007 It comes with his finder. Look at cameraquest.com.
rob_x2004 Posted March 25, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted March 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I like it for the second sort of frame where you can control the distortion of the subject, as they are pretty much centre. I dont like what it does to people and things edge of frame, so third frame I would find annoying for this sort of photography. I like 28 for that sort of stuff. Be interesting to see what you post with it when you really get the hang. Regards
ron110n Posted March 26, 2007 Share #8  Posted March 26, 2007 Awesome R€iner!!!  Also watch out for the tip of your shoes, you might include it in the frame by accident.   Pat,  The 15mm finder is part of the package when you buy one. Also it has no focusing cam and it will not focus on your finder. But @ 15mm that wide... "you're always focused". Guestimate the distance and you'll be fine.   -Ron

guywalder Posted March 26, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted March 26, 2007 distortion is part of the appeal of lens like this! buy what is happening in the third picture? the line of posts gets more distorted as they move towards the centre of the frame! The one 'between' the 2 girls looks much more distorted than the one at the edge of the frame?? Guy
@bumac Posted March 26, 2007 Author Share #11 Â Posted March 26, 2007 That's not the lense that's Madrid. The delivery-lorries hit the posts till they break down. The post between the girls is inclined.
Ecaton Posted March 26, 2007 Share #12  Posted March 26, 2007 on M6, Fuji 100 Asa. I like the lense. It is really good and pricy (300 Euro at cameraquest). But take care with your fingers. It is very easy to have them on the picture. I is anything else but pricey! I got mine on Friday and used it over the weekend on my M8. It is an excellent lens and offers great value for the money. I'd rather call it inexpensive than "pricy".  .

Guest Arias Posted March 27, 2007 Share #14 Â Posted March 27, 2007 With your next camera ( ) you'll be even more happy with this lens, since vignetting and distortion is much less an issue in combination with the M8. Greetings H.
