danielp11 Posted January 20, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello! Inspired by the wonderful series "Nocturne" by moaan Nocturne - a set on Flickr done mostly with his Noctilux and by the wipe-oil-paintings by Gerhard Richter, I tried a small exercise with my Voigtländer 50mm f1.1. The picture was taken through the window and the slit between the curtains into the garden very early in the morning, moving the camera at 1/8s at 50mm, with f1.1 wi.th my M9-P. I hope this picture is not a pure waste of disk-storage... Nevertheless, any comments are very much appreciated... Daniel Welcome, dear visitor! pauledell Posted January 20, 2013 Share #2 Posted January 20, 2013 Daniel, If you are a first-time poster, welcome. I find this a nice abstract with no sharp boundaries but the colors and lighting make up for it. Paul
Northwest Wanderer Posted January 21, 2013 Share #3 Posted January 21, 2013 Welcome to the group. I'm kind of a new member myself. I don't really understand your image. If you had not mentioned what you were trying for I would have been clueless about it. On the other hand, you have ventured into an artistic style of photography and for that I say good for you thinking outside the box.

Its not the very first picture I post here, but the first "abstract" one. I just begin to try to figure it out...
