What about the weight and balance on the M?  It's similar in size to the WATE, which I have as well. It definitely blocks a chunk of the viewfinder (crummy photo attached, taken by holding iPhone up to eyepiece). I use the Frankenfinder, so the cutoff is not an issue at all.  It's a hefty lens, but feels great in the hand and balances nicely.  As typical for Voigtlander, the build quality is excellent.  Mike Welcome, dear visitor!
