nippa Posted December 10, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted December 10, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) When I first bought the Leica Transport Case for my X1 , I was constantly annoyed that the fit was so tight that the lens cap would be lifted from the camera as the case was opened. Today I use the ERC rather more. Â Recently I became aware that JJC made an automatic lens cap for the X1 so I thought I'd give it a try. Although made of plastic it works well and is small enough to allow me to use the Transport Case again. I did have a couple of pictures to show but all of the links from Photobucket show up as URLs on this site and not as images. Â I was relieved to find that the auto lenscap's bladed doors cannot touch the lens as the X1 lens retreats well back on close down.
