Paul Reading Posted December 4, 2012 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) My Digilux 2 had remote software but it does not work with Mountain Lion. Do any of the current cameras come complete with remote software. I do not want an SLR. Canon have stopped supplying remote software for their compacts. I am using an illuminated white table for product photos and need a macro camera with remote software.

It works tethered to the M9, and other cameras so it might work with your Digilux. Look under 'File' > 'Take Picture'.

mija1789 Posted December 5, 2012 Share #4 Posted December 5, 2012 If you feel adventurous, why not running Snow Leopard as a virtual machine within Mountain Lion, as described here for instance ? Assuming of course the D2 software works with SL.

Assuming as well that he has Parallels 7. So, Mountain Lion > Parallels > Snow Leopard. That's like leapfrogging through one's own butt.
