sdk Posted December 4, 2012 Share #21 Â Posted December 4, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Colonel, the 35mm/2.5 Summarit is wonderful. Compact, reasonably fast and in most ways better than the expensive ASPH 35mm lenses. I prefer my 28mm Elmarit ASPH usually, but that 35mm is terrific for when a slightly narrower view is needed. essphoto Posted December 17, 2012 Share #23  Posted December 17, 2012 How about trading the 28 for a 35, which would be closer to your 50? l "only" have a 35 Lux at the moment, and a 50 will be my next focal length, followed by the 28 cron  Out of curiosity, Andy, why is the 50 your next choice? What kinds of shots do you think using the 50 as opposed to the 35 will give you? I currently only have the 35, and I'm thinking that it's not as versatile as the 50 because of its limitations with portraiture. However it exceeds elsewhere, so if I do get a second lens I am leaning to the 75 instead.
