elopezso Posted March 19, 2007 Author Share #22  Posted March 19, 2007 Trying my first upload using Guy's action. The pic is the one I took of my 3 friends with the 3 shades of blue jackets. The pic, which I took in about a minute's time, are no great art mind you. I was simply trying to get colors that I could use for testing purposes to see how the different profiles worked. I processed them all in Aperture, Silkypix, C1 and Lightroom.  Silkypix was the warmest with good color rendition but the faces were a tad cyan; the overall effect, however, was very pleasant.  The Aperture conversions looked great but the colors weren't accurate. All the blues were off. Mind you, is reality irrelevant when taking pictures, especially if te colors pop out at you?  Lightroom was really good but the overall effect was too cool & harsh; I am not a fan of cool in pics.  C1 with Edmund's LoSat Tuned2 profile was dead on the money. Not only were the faces perfect with no rosacea or magenta but the jacket colors were right on the money. The pics also did not have a plasticy, cool look to them like the Lightroom pics had. This profile is a winner.  I am including the pic with Edmund's lowsattune2 profile, where the colors were perfectly accurate.  Hope it works.  Ed Welcome, dear visitor!
