D-Lux 6 Ext Flash

Hi folks,

Picked up my D-Lux 6 this evening along with the EVF, although I went cheap & bought the Panasonic variant at half the price...the only difference being that its says Panasonic on it...yeah I know, I'm cheap...lol...

Anyway, I'm after an external flash, whilst the CF-22 is okay, I'd prefer something I can bounce, does anyone know if the Nikon SB-400 would work? it states iTTL...

Any guidance or alternatives would be much appreciated.

Thanks

:D

Don't all rush at once ;) Seriously, don't worry, I think I've worked it out myself...No it can't be used, iTTL is bespoke to Nikon, shame as its a nice lil flash...

So, out of all you folk that wanted an external flash, what did you go for? I prefer an indirect flash so would like something I can bounce....anyone have any ideas???

I use a Metz 24 AF-1 for both my D-Lux 5 and 6. It bounces and has TTL, not super bright but enough.

Hi,

Sorry posted this in the 'Digital' forum and then found this one! A question about the Metz 24AF flash - can you confirm that it will evenly illuminate images at 24mm wide angle of the D Lux 5?

Does it have a diffuser?

Are there any other alternative flashes that can be recommended?

Cheers,

Chris
