jolsen Posted September 29, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 29, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just bought a X2 and downloaded Lightroom 3.6 just to find out that X2 is not supported... My computer is only running XP, and I don't really want to spend money on a new OS too. What am I missing? In the camera calibration in Lightroom I only have Process 2010 (Current) and Profile: Embedded. The colors are obviously not correct. JPG are much better than DNG. Would the X2 support in Lightroom 4.1 help me get better colors from the DNG? And how?
Advertisement Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Hi jolsen, Take a look here Lightroom 3.6 and X2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jolsen Posted September 29, 2012 Author Share #2 Posted September 29, 2012 Looked around in the OS and found that I do not have any camera profiles installed what so ever... What do I download, and where am I supposed to install?
andybarton Posted September 29, 2012 Share #3 Posted September 29, 2012 You should probably have downloaded LR4. Not sure how you came to get 3.6 Try downloading LR4 and using the serial number provided by Leica unless of course LR4 doesn't work on XP ( I don't know) XP is a very old OS now. Sometimes you have to move on.
jolsen Posted September 29, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted September 29, 2012 Say I do upgrade my OS. What will I then be able to do in 4.1, which I can not do in 3.6? My wife happens to be running Windows 7 on her computer so of course I downloaded 4.1 also and installed it. Still no Leica X2 support... In camera calibration I only get Adobe Standard additionally compared to what I had in 3.6. And when I check the files in the CameraProfiles folder, I still don't see any Leica X2 files. Please help. What do I need to do to get the Leica X2 support in Lightroom, and how does it work?
