tobey bilek Posted September 20, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a nice file structure for pictures where each session or group has a folder like vacation 2008 preceded by the date, ie 2008-09-15 Florida vacation. They stay in nice order and I can search with Bridge and import to photoshop/ACR easily. Then I save the .psd and finished jpegs in sub folders. My new M9 came with LightRoom which works from a library. I do not want to duplicate the files, but I would like to use the raw file processing of LR for the DNG. If I could get this to work, I would not ever upgrade PS again as it is rather expensive. Is this feasible and how is it done?

archi4 Posted September 21, 2012 Share #2 Posted September 21, 2012 There is no problem and you don't have to duplicate anything. LR just uses your existing file structure, whether that is on your computer's hard disk or on an external one (which is what I use. Lightroom is well integrated with photoshop. I suggest you look at the Adobe video tutorials Products | Lightroom | Adobe TV
