Advertisement Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Hi Rick, Take a look here Stefan Daniel: "I never said sell your R lenses". I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tomasis7 Posted September 22, 2012 Share #42 Posted September 22, 2012 I see things youre talking. Its new X3. no need for M body to build on evf, new lens mount. Just start a new body to build things on it is logical to continue X serie but with lens mount and fullframe sensor. As M drives from cropped sensor as M8, X3 could be improved from X2. More than they cost when new ... and probably significantly more than when the "Greatest ever Leica R lens discount sale" was in full swing a few years ago ... when all the dealers were at it trying to shift the remaining stocks. I still have mine ... it's a masterpiece of technology/design ... as is the 280/4 APO ... I wonder how much the latter will command when next listed on ebay? All this interest in the camera and it's still at the prototype stage ... and no real hands on reviews or test results available yet. There's going to be a mighty long queue for the New M. dunk dunk
