Guest guy_mancuso Posted March 14, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi guys i dropped my wife at the airport and did what every leica junky does , GO SHOPPING. LOL I went and got a SB 600 flash for the M8 needed a extra flash and wanted something small, that is not the real story though. Went to one of our sponsors store Collectable Cameras here in Phoenix, Arizona for our international crowd. They have a Chrome M8 coming in this week they said. So someone looking may want to call them. 602 944-2112 Next part is I needed a vertical magnifer for my Visoflex which they did not have but i did get a 90 degree finder that fits for the M8. But they also have a Visoflex III with a that same finder for 295.00 dollars in very nice shape. This finder works on the M8 but it does cover the hot shoe. Now we find the reason we need the seperate PC outlet on the camera. LOL Now i am setup though to at least shoot some macro stuff and in the studio i will just release the strobes with my hand with a transmitter , the old fashion way but workable. Anyway they are nice folks and have a load of Leica gear

robsteve Posted March 14, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 14, 2007 I bought both my DMR and my M8 from Collectible Cameras. They are very good people to deal with. Robert
popum Posted March 14, 2007 Share #3 Posted March 14, 2007 Guy Do you use the SB600 in the M8 hot shoe? What settings do you use on the SB600. I have one and would love to be able to use it in those few occasions when I need a flash. Mike
