The coding promotion requires that you buy the new lens in order to get the coupons for coding. That means waiting for coding old lenses until the new one comes. I am anticipating timing issues for me because I have a trip planned for end of June and the delays in coding appear to be 2 months or longer. Two months back from end of June is end of April -- but that's not so far away any more and the WATE is nowhere to be seen. I would be happy to pay up front for the coding of the two lenses I have that need it (50mm 'cron and 28-35-50 TE) if I could then be reimbursed by Leica after the coupons arrive with my WATE. I am sure others are in the same boat -- waiting for a new lens to arrive before the send off the old one(s) for coding. Anyone think this is in the realm of possibility? Are those that far backed up at dealers? Â Â No 30% for me. My M8 came in Jan 18, 2 1/2 weeks too late for the 30% promotion. Its going to be full freight from my local dealer.
