JE Posted March 13, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 13, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Help! I've got a iiif and this morning I went to take a photo and, unlike yesterday, the rangerfinder window was blurry. I can focus (more or less) but the image is not as crisp as usual. What's happened? Thanks, Jonathan

doubice Posted March 13, 2007 Share #3 Posted March 13, 2007 Jonathan, Your IIIf has a diopter adjustment lever right next to the film rewind knob. I am quite sure that you accidentally moved it and that is why your rangefinder image seems blury. The best way to adjust it is to sight through the rf window with your 'focusing' eye while keeping the other eye open as well. Move the adjustment lever back and forth slowly, until the image is sharp. All the best, Jan

Thanks for being kinder. I have no idea why, this time, I didn't adjust the lever. I've had to do it other times but today...panic set in. Thanks again. And thanks, telewatt.
